Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication in the top State university in the Philippines.
After getting into the best advertising agency in Manila, he has worked his way from visualizer to art director in less than a year. He has since been pirated by other top agencies and won several awards including gold in best print ad and platinum best print in the local Ad Congress event in 1993. Eric has since gained more than 15 years experience in the advertising, design and the marketing industry from several major multinational mainstream agencies like Lintas, J. Walter Thompson, Bozell Worldwide, and FCB, conceptualizing, art directing and editing/directing TV commercials.
As a Senior Creative head, He has led teams of young creatives to handle major accounts like Philippine Airlines, Unilever Philippines, Kraft, Johnson & Johnson’s, San Miguel Brewery, Bayer, Smart Telecoms ( the no.1 telecom provider in the Philippines ) and more.
He was then commisioned to travel to the UAE to headstart the intro campaign for Air Arabia, the first low-cost airline in the UAE. After a successful campaign flight, he moved on to Percept-Hakuhodo, Dubai to handle Lal’s Group and help set in motion Arabian Centre, A mall in Dubai.
In 2007, he was then asked to lead the creative to launch SMART (telecom) in Indonesia as Creative Director in FCB, Jakarta.
After successfully launching the product, went back to Dubai to work in Expression, now MC, Saatchi and succeeded to win several accounts for the agency like Mall of the Emirates SkiDubai, Carex Hand gel and Jotun Paints. Got shortlisted for the best ad for his World Press Freedom "Stories" Campaign.
He's now working as Senior Art Director in Dunes Graphics. Working mainly on below the line marketing.
